Your privacy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information is processed when you visit the site or use the voice conversation, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

In short: microphone access begins only when you request it; voice and conversation data are processed to provide a response; and you should not share sensitive personal information.

1. Information you provide

When you start a conversation, the service processes your voice recording or browser-generated transcript and the recent text of the conversation. This information is necessary to understand your request and generate a relevant response.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information you include in the message.

2. Microphone and transcription

Microphone access is requested only after you press the microphone button. In browsers with built-in speech recognition, transcription may be handled by the browser and its provider. Where built-in recognition is unavailable, audio is recorded for the active request and sent to our transcription provider. The app stops the recording when you stop listening or the request ends.

3. AI conversation processing

Your transcript and recent conversation context are sent to an AI service provider to generate a response. This processing may occur on servers outside your region. Do not submit health records, financial information, passwords, government identifiers, private communications, or other sensitive data.

4. Device data and server logs

Hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and error logs. This data helps deliver the website, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems.

5. Cookies, local storage, and consent

The site may use local storage to remember whether you have seen or responded to a consent notice. If analytics or advertising is enabled, additional cookies or identifiers may be used only in accordance with applicable consent requirements.

6. Advertising

We may use Google AdSense in the future. If enabled, Google and its partners may process device information and use cookies to deliver, limit, personalize, and measure advertising, depending on your location and consent choices. Advertising is not currently required to use the voice experience.

7. How information is shared

Information is shared with service providers only as needed to operate the site—for example hosting, transcription, AI processing, security, and advertising providers. We do not sell conversation content as a data product. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service.

8. Retention and security

The current browser session keeps recent conversation text so responses have context. Reloading or leaving the experience clears that in-browser conversation state. Infrastructure and AI providers may retain limited records under their own policies. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You may deny or revoke microphone access in browser settings, clear site data and cookies, stop using the conversation, or contact us about a privacy request. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information.

10. Children

This service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Children should use the experience only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement and should never provide personal information.

11. Changes and contact

We may revise this policy as providers and features change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Privacy questions may be sent to privacy@wisdomdialogues.app. This address must be connected to the final production domain before launch.
